Dr. Atkinson completed his undergraduate Chiropractic education at Utah State University. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Dr. Atkinson has been in practice for over 25 years. He currently holds active license status in Utah and Arizona, he is an active member of the American Institute of Personal Injury Physicians and is certified in motor vehicle injuries (CMVI). Dr. Atkinson's office provides clinical rotational opportunities for chiropractic and naturopathic students to observe his unique style of practice and treatment care. Dr. Atkinson successfully treats back and neck pain, headaches as well as pain and numbness in the extremities associated with spinal dysfunction. Dr. Atkinson is known for his ability to decompress the spine; relieving symptoms from disc bulging and protrusions to scoliosis and compression trauma. Dr. Atkinson provides treatments for a variety of conditions, from chronic low back and neck pain to rehabilitation following an accident or injury. Dr. Atkinson also provides counseling for patients on improving their diet, creating a healthier workplace, and increasing the overall quality of their health. Outside the office Dr. Atkinson is actively involved with his local church and boy scout troop, he himself is an Eagle Scout and wants other young men to have the opportunity to learn to be better members of our community through this great program. Hobbies include camping, hiking, woodworking, and keeping up with his family. Dr. Atkinson has been married to his beautiful wife for over 30 years and has 4 boys.
